Now that the Billings house is gone, Reed takes matters in her own hands and forms a Billings Literary Society after a book she was given that dates back to 1915, written by the original Billings girls. In the eleventh book of Private, as always, drama follows Reed around like a stray puppy. It wasn't my favourite of the series, especially after the exciting tenth book, this one lacked a bit in plot and development. I was a bit annoyed with Reed's attitude in this one as well, and with the very 8th grade secret society she was forming - I don't get the point of it really. I did like the Josh development though, and as usual, the cliffhanger ending is very intriguing.
