Loving this trilogy! I wish I didn't have to wait a year for the last one. I can't say I liked it better than the first because the Summoning was really intriguing, but this one was fast paced and had more action, so I'd have to say they're even. I liked the ending of this one better though- I don't particularly enjoy cliffhanger endings.The character development was great and the fact that it had references to the Otherworld series was pretty neat. (I think a nice crossover with that series in the future could be very interesting.) I'm also rooting for Derek. He's a great character and I'm glad we got to learn more about him and have Chloe spend most of the book with him.I would like to knock off half a star because I found the ending was kind of rushed. Like she was in a hurry to finish it and decided to cut it short.
