This was the first Picoult I read that I didn't really enjoy much at all. I don't like giving one of her books only 2 stars but I can't say it was more than "ok".The storyline was very mediocre and much too predictable. The whole religious aspect was also not for me. The chapters of Michael were much too biblical and boring. Parts of the story were a little far fetched and the twists could be seen a million pages in advance. I didn't understand why June was so uncertain about wanting the heart. For my child, I wouldn't have even thought about it no matter whose it was. Even if it was Charles Manson's. Maggie was a bit too self conscious about her weight. Size 14 isn't that big and she made it sound like she was a whale. Lucius was the only character that I did enjoy. He was realistic and I enjoyed his story.
